FIND OUT WHAT WE ARE
ABOUT
Our hope is to see people find community in a way they never thought possible. Encountering God's love, growing in friendship with others and engaging the communities in which we live
WHAT WE BELIEVE AND
WHO WE ARE
Our name, Tidal is inspired by the words of Psalm 42 which talk of God's love, 'deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls, all your waves and breakers have crashed over me.' We love encountering the life-changing presence of God and we want everyone to encounter him too. We believe that Jesus has made a way for God to be known just like this.

For us, this is where genuine community starts, with the love of God. With God we start to slow down and see life from a different perspective. He helps us find new friends in those we used to walk past and shows us the places in our communities that he wants to bring to life.

We are growing Tidal Church in this way, not around big gatherings but around smaller communities where real friendships can grow and together we can serve the places we live in practical ways.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT OUR
COMMUNITIES
We have a vision to start over 50 local church communities across the North Shore of Vancouver. Meeting weekly, the aim for each Tidal community is to be a place of friendship, laughter, honesty and fun. They are times where we enjoy getting to know God together and find ways to bring God's peace and joy to our neighbourhoods. We currently have four Tidal Communities meeting in Horseshoe Bay, Ambleside, Lonsdale and Seymour.

We'd love to hear from you.
Tidal Church is part of Christ Central Churches, a family of churches working together around the world. We’re also a part of Trinity Central, Vancouver. John and Kate who oversee the Tidal leadership team are actively supported by Hope Church, Harrogate in the UK, where they planted and led the church for 10 years. We are blessed to be working with these wonderful churches.
